The future of the world is something we can now understand.... This is what the WAM science tells us.... You can remain ignorant, and probably this is a pleasant state to be in.... But the more interesting task is to begin developing science and to admit that most of our current “knowledge” is nonsense....

THE RISE AND FALL OF “PETROLEUM MAN” (PART TWO):
AN INTERVIEW WITH COLIN J. CAMPBELL

It was in May 2003 that WAM first talked to Colin J. Campbell. He was not famous yet. I believe I had perhaps talked to him over the telephone before WAM was established, I will have to one day check my extensive call notes which go back some 15 years. Nonetheless, the first talk, which was recorded, is memorable.

There have been some four interviews with Campbell since then. The most recent is March 2009.

A week or so ago I spoke to him once again, the first time since March 2009. A lot has happened since then, obviously. The world has changed. 500 years of Western economic growth and expansion is coming to an end. Growth has stalled out, and the United States represents the zenith of these five centuries of expansion. Campbell and I talked for about 30 minutes and he told me he was much impressed with the WAM science. He said he agreed with all the WAM science, which I was of course pleased to hear – but I was not surprised. Our discussion was fascinating, and I will travel over to Ireland to see him soon. Several weeks ago I published this article in WAM:

The “stuff” of Phase 2 of human history, the structures and the “knowledge” as well as technology, will not survive the transition to Phase 3. I am referring to the WAM science, which you may have some familiarity with, at least I certainly hope you do. There are two questions I keep asking myself: how long will this transition be?; and how deep and traumatic will it be? As you may know, I am figuring it will endure for another 20 years at least. I also believe it will be very deep and very traumatic. I am hoping it could be faster, but this is merely a hope, not science. Let's consider the internet and its future growth.

Jim O'Neill kindly sent me some of his BRIC research back in 2007. Then there is Citi Investment Research. The areas of the world which are under-developed are pretty vast, no?

Then consider the correlation between the price of gold and the development of the emerging world.

Colin Campbell and WAM will be collaborating in the future. There is a lot of science to develop, and the WAM science is certainly an excellent foundation. Consider a few sample WAM articles, which were published last month, January 2012, in WAM.

Petroleum man was very powerful, and this power created – in the United States and Europe – a high mobility of ideas. This however has peaked and of course the power and wealth of the United States has peaked. Zionism has destroyed the United States. This is unfortunate, but it's the natural course of history. Rome did not and could not move into Phase 2 of history and the United States cannot and will not move into Phase 3 of history.... continue

What is never examined and discussed in news publications of the affluent West? What subjects are never broached?

The answer is uncomfortable, as most people recognize. The western media distort the realities of the world, the intricacies of world affairs, and present an image of events which is palatable and acceptable, and which conforms to their image of the world.Their beliefs and perspectives must be defended, and it is precisely this act of self-defense, which is no doubt an agonizing and desperate one, that undermines education and creates distortion....continue
